MONOCHROME is BACK!

I love this trend… it crops up every few years and it looks shaaaaamazzzing (something me and the cousin bang on about)!! I walked into Zara the other day and was overwhelmed by the amount of black and white stripes in every direction possible…. sideways… left… right.. diagonal…. and I wanted to wear them all at once!

I think this trend looks so sleek, it can really dress up any outfit and even though black and white are pretty plain colours, together they have an edge of sophistication! Pair this look with a bright red or coral lipstick and you are ready for this seasons hottest trend! This look is fresh, hot and something to bring you into 2013! When I get dressed up I personally feel so much better, I walk better… I smile more and I feel more comfortable! How about this year is a YOU year….. dress well… look fresh and take pride in your presentation… we all say that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover…. but we ALL do it! I dress for myself, I love feeling fabulous!

If you want to go for something designer they are rocking this trend this season. I love Balenciaga’s ruffles!

How amazing are these cute pieces from Marc Jacobs….my favourite if the last outfit!

Jason Wu has done it again, he has taken a trend and make it uber glamorous with sheer silks,patterns and sleek fits! I LOVE the sticky out dress with the nude body! This look is beautiful and with hair up and a statement lip you will have heads turning!

Moschino’s SS13 collection reminds me a a mix of the 60’s, Austin Powers and a dose of class! I am not so sure about the hats but I love the clothes and the tailoring!

I am a big fan of up and coming designers and I think Katie Eary just keeps getting better and better. Katie first popped on the scene in 2010, her obsession with animal print is still dominant in her prints! Check out her next season collection and let me know what you think? Do you love it? Hate it? Need it right now? I personally love it!!

Katie has created these shaaaaamazing prints that make me want to jump up and down, grab some high waisted disco pants….. grab one of her t-shirts…..put my hair up in a sleek model-esh bun, dark lipstick… heels and WHAM … I am ready to strut my stuff!

WOW…. I don’t even know where to start!

I accidentally came across this AMAZING brand, I now want most of their collection…. the colours are vibrant and the designs are elegant. Made in the UK, Natalia Kaut is a haute couture designer with a luxury sophisticated feel, the detail is immense.

Gowns that flow, ruffles, pleats, leather, perspex … WOW!
