Street Style London- Exclusive IWYS video

Finally it is here…… the first IWYS street style London video… my lovely friend Jamma and I ran up and down London to find the finest street style hotties in London! If you are involved in the video then firstly thank you…. you LOOK FAB! You stood out and yes …. I do want your style!

This first exclusive video focuses on what people are really wearing… how they are interpretting todays fashion … especially in London’s weather! We are a nation of fashionista’s and I salute anyone rocking their own style and standing out! We don’t want to be sheep wearing the same clothes… make a difference and try something new! If you are more of a ‘plain jane’ then try something new…. remember that the high street is your catwalk! Stand out…. dress how you feel! Sometimes I rock out in skinny jeans and converse and the next day I am head to toe in studs or neon… maybe not that extravagant but I love to make things my own! Don’t be bound by fashion trends…. do whatever you want to do and stand out!

Street Style…. I heart you!

Everyone needs some inspiration….. I could flick through the old Vogue magazines, pick up the latest Elle or have a look online but these are unrealistic expectations! I want the REAL side of fashion, the true story of fashion… what people are actually wearing not the sugar coated models with their camera friendly smiles!

The love of street style is spreading like wildfire and it’s real people wearing highstreet, vintage, designer… whatever they have! I love finding people with a great sense of style…. the world is full of weird and wonderful things…. my campaign this year is to find fun and exciting, inspirational characters who dare to wear whatever they feel and still look stylist.

I don’t want to take pictures of followers of fashion… I want trend setters! …. The first street style exclusive will be release at the end of this week! I wanted a Horse…….

I have always wanted a horse but after a weekend horse riding when I was 7 the family said no…. poor horse I would of named him some stupid name and braided his hair… most probably dip-dyed his tail or mane and be the only person with a pink horse in the UK…. well I didn’t get a horse … I wasn’t allowed and got a cat instead who was terrified off me… I am guessing this has something to do with me trying to dress her up when I was 8 and since then she runs every time she sees me… sad time!

Anyway I am drifting away from the point… yes I wanted a horse because I liked what horse riders wore… seriously thats pretty pathetic I know but I loved it!(remember I was 7)…. Today this outfit reminded me of wanting a horse… the boots … the equestrian style.. I love it… Everything I am wearing is from Zara… except the boots!

I have a thing for rings…. I literally pile them on! I have a thing for sparkly gems and armour jewellery! love love love!!

Prints that I love…

It’s great to follow fashion but you have to create your own style! It’s an art to understand the trends and interpret them into your own! Sometimes it’s best to just go against them and do what you want to do! … I work in fashion and every season I see something very similar… in the winter we do leather … sometimes pleather! The colours are dark green, maroons, tartans and they introduce the ‘new winter colour’ for that season….. In the summer we do the new print with bright colours… bring in the pastels.. change the shapes .. ANYWAY…back to the point… I think I might do something different and try and create my own print! If I had a brand it would be OUTRAGEOUS… in your face, turn heads and your friends would ask ‘where did you get that from?’

Ruffles and Red Lips

I walked into Zara recently and I wanted everything… then I decided to trot along to H&M where I only wanted a few bits and then I thought… what do I actually have in my wardrobe…. and then I heard my mothers voice in my mind… ‘You have so many clothes…. do you even need that?’

There is a big difference between ‘wanting’ and ‘needing’ something but as a fashion addict I can’t seem to stop myself!

As a self confessed fashion and beauty addict I get my kicks from shopping… shopping and more shopping! I love buying items that are statement pieces and something you will have season are season. My favourite cardigan that I have is my H&M ruffle cream cardi! It’s so cute and it was limited edition… so I couldn’t say no!

Rings rings and more rings…. my clutch is from warehouse… my big chunky gold ring is from Mawi, their jewellery is AMAZING! Check out Mawi’s new collection I adore their pieces, they are a luxury jewellery brand and you will always find something you want!

Make Up

Illamasqua red lipstick- Their lipstick is great, it long lasting and doesn’t bleed! They are quite matt but look great with a dash of gloss

Foundation– Today I decided to keep the foundation quite light as I was going for a day look, I used a dash of foundation from MAC…. it’s my lightest foundation and its the one in the squeezy bottle!

I attempted a Marilyn Monroe eyeliner flick with the rouge lipstick and extra loaded mascara on my bottom lashes!

Fashion Diary #2 Lazy Leopard Print

I love my new camera, over the weekend we had a family lunch discussing the wedding (not mine)! I had a rummage through my wardrobe and found my FCUK skirt, it made a come back today with a casual look and feel.

I have also been trying out new makeup, I contoured my cheeks for the Kim K look and decided to go with berry red vamp lips. Keep posted for my new youtube channel for all the latest looks.

Over the weekend I popped into Primark and picked up some amazing tights. I like tights that look and feel comfortable, keep you warm and last a long time. I picked up the ‘extra soft cosy’ tights for £3.50! They are amazing and you have to invest especially as the weather is getting chilly!

I love LFW… all the fashion creatures crawl out of their cupboards and make their way to Somerset house…. Some may think they are being pretentious but I can’t get enough of them. Maybe I am bias but LFW has the best street style in the world!

You literally walk up to Somerset House, everyone who is anyone has a camera… flashes everywhere and people posing..’can I take a pic of you for my blog’….. swapping cards… networking!

It is the place to be, if you manage to pop past defiantly have a walk around and see if you are inspired!

Yes this is a man…. but he does look amazing!

Vogue Fashion’S Night Out

What an amazing night! Bond Street was booming, filled to the brim, music blaring with two live performances and a set from a live Jazz & Swing band. Missoni has an ice cream truck and Hersheson had it’s portable blow dry bar set up.

Queues of people for Jimmy Choo, D&G’s exclusive private event and many people mingling in Moschino.

Bloggers invaded the streets, photographers everywhere, press and trend forecasters covering the most entertaining fashion event before the start of LFW.

I met quite a few interesting characters last night, Kelly Brook looked lovely in her cream dress as she tottered past me on her way to the Missoni’s event. Pixie Lott was chilling in Moschino. Bumped into my lovely friend Neeko with his entourage showcasing his new collections of studded spiky rock glamour.

Everyone was in high spirits, if you didn’t manage to go this year MAKE sure you go next year. I felt like I was at a street party and met so many different designers, bloggers and fashionistas.

Forget the celeb spotting and street style fashion a variety of stores had promotions and competitions to win their luxury goods.
